OTHER ACTIVITIES

WATERLOO ROAD CHURCH

Through the year, the church organises & gets involved in a number of outreach activities. These are designed to either provide a link to the local community and used as an evangelistic tool, or simply to provide a time for people in the church to get together.

Football Tournament

The church runs a football tournament for local teams in June. This year 17, 5 a-side-teams took part to compete for the trophy.

Quiz

The annual quiz is held with all people invited & encouraged to bring others along. It also includes a fish & chip supper!!

Talent Competition

A talent competition is run each year with some members of the church putting on a high quality routine and always provides entertainment for everyone involved. 'Acts' vary from music, to comedy, to poetry, to drama & much more.

Junior Church Picnic

The Junior Church picnic normally happens in July. All children from Junior Church & their parents are invited.

Street Party

The church has run 4 Street Parties over the past few years which is a great opportunity to meet people from the local area & provide a great evening for the whole community.
